Military life can make dealing with family law issues difficult

We recently discussed why prenuptial agreements are so important for military members. We also discussed some of the child custody issues that military members might face. These issues are all very difficult for military members because they can't just take time off of work like civilians can. Instead, they likely have to try to deal with personal issues while keeping a full schedule of duty assignments.

We know that you are facing some challenges that are unique to military life. We know that you don't want to have to jump through hoops to get your family law issues handled. We can help you learn about what options you have to deal with family law issues while you are serving our country so that you can get them handled.

If you are facing a divorce, there are many things that you need to consider. Not all of the considerations will impact all divorces. For examples, you won't have to worry about how the divorce will impact your pension unless you have been married for 20 years. Marriages that didn't last as long as that might have other considerations, such as child custody, child support and similar issues to deal with.

We know how federal laws and state laws can impact divorces in Florida. We can help you learn about what laws will come into the picture during your divorce and the issues associated with it. From there, we can help you make a plan about how you will handle these issues so that you can move on and get back to your military life.
